Burraston Ponds 2002

We are working on Cycling Merit Badge this summer, and one of the best places around to do some cycling is the south end of Utah Valley. So we decided to make our June camp out at Burraston Ponds, near Mona.

There are two pages of photos. These are only the thumbnail photos.

Burraston Ponds have this great rope swing.

At first the boys just watched. Then Tyler, who had done it last time, showed them how it's done.

Then I think this is Dustin.

And I can't tell who this is. The boys had fun Friday night on the swing until it got too dark for us to take any more pictures.

Here's the whole crowd cooking around the fire - or whatever it is they do around the fire.

I got this shot early in the morning when we were all just getting up.

Dustin and Michael are getting ready for the biking.

Here are Tyler and his dad enjoying breakfast in the pickup.

That's Mt. Nebo as seen from the ponds. It was a beautiful summer morning.

As they started the 25 mile bike ride we ended up splitting into groups. This is Tyler, David and Dustin in the lead group.
